Knowing When to Call a Pest Controller
Pest control services are some of the most affordable ways to get rid of a home invasion, but there is a huge difference between spotting a couple of stray termites and dealing with a full blown infestation. If there’s one thing that wild mammals, animals and insects have in common it’s their desire to stay safe and warm – and unfortunately for us, our homes are often the target of their attentions.
If you’re still not certain, here are a few things to look out for.
- Are you frequently seeing, hearing or coming face to face with the cause of an infestation? With smaller insects spotting a few strays shouldn’t be an issue, but if you see a line of ants, this may be a problem that could do with addressing. If you are hearing mice at night, or noticing their droppings – then you might want to overlook the number rule in favour of having them removed as soon as possible
- Just because the invasion isn’t bothering you doesn’t mean that it isn’t a problem. If you’re having to clean up after birds, mammals, or insects then this really isn’t something that you should have to deal with.
Plenty of pest controllers offer humane removal services in the case of mammals, birds and reptiles – so if you’re concerned that they will come to harm, then there really isn’t much to worry about.
